Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp orange zest (1 orange)

Instructions
 

  • In a 1 liter Mason jar, combine all the dry ingredients in the following order. To make it look prettier, you can put 1 cup of flour, the cocoa powder and then the remaining flour.

Preheat the oven at 350°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper. In a bowl, whisk together 1 egg, 1/2 cup of canola oil, 1 tsp of vanilla extract and 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp of orange juice. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Form 19 cookies using 1 tbsp of dough for each. Bake for 12 minutes.
The dry mix can be kept 2-3 days at room temperature (not more because of the zest).
