Fortified Protein-Rich Vegan Smoothie
Whether you have to go through rough cancer treatments or are trying to increase your muscle mass, this smoothie is a real gold mine in terms of calories, protein, fibre, omega-3s, calcium, potassium, magnesium and many other nutrients! It provides roughly 650 kcal, 45 g of protein, 20 g of fibre, 550 mg of calcium, 1,100 mg potassium and 225 mg of magnesium. You can easily adjust it to your taste preferences by adding maple syrup, cocoa powder, cinnamon, vanilla extract, coconut flakes, chocolate syrup, French vanilla Nescafé and other flavourings.
Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen fruits
- 1 cup unsweetened soy milk
- ¼ cup oats
- ¼ cup walnuts
- 30 g (1 scoop) pea protein powder
- 1 tbsp natural peanut butter
- 1 tbsp flax seeds
- Maple syrup to taste
- Water if needed
- Cocoa powder, cinnamon, vanilla extract, coconut flakes, chocolate syrup, French vanilla Nescafé and other flavourings if desired
Instructions
- Blend all the ingredients together until smooth. Add some water to dilute the smoothie if needed. Adjust the flavours as desired.
