Honey Mustard Baked Salmon
One of my favorite recipes of all time! This Honey Mustard Baked Salmon is quick, easy and perfect for busy weeknights! It is done under 20 minutes and cooked in the oven to flaky perfection! You will be amazed by how it falls apart on your fork. It only requires 6 ingredients so what are you waiting for? Serve it with some wild rice and a salad, and you will have a tasty meal ready for you and your your loved one.
Ingrédients
- 2 salmon fillets
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp fresh ginger finely grated
- Sesame seeds to decorate
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a large baking sheet with a nonstick silicone liner and dispose the salmon, skin down, on top. Set aside.
- Prepare the glaze by mixing the ingredients with a fork until a creamy texture is obtained. Brush half of the glaze on the salmon. Bake for 12 minutes.
- Remove the fish from the oven and let sit for 5 minutes. Serve the salmon and brush with the remaining glaze once in the plate.
- Decorate with sesame seeds if desired. Serve with some wild rice and a salad and enjoy!
Notes
Don’t overcook it! Salmon finishes cooking after you take it out of the oven. So, if you let it cook for too long in the oven, it will continue to cook afterwards and will be overdone when served. By cooking it for 12 minutes, it will fall apart just perfectly on your fork!
