Orange and TVP Granola
Of all the granola recipes I've created lately, this orange-infused granola has become my new favorite. The combination of fresh orange zest and juice, maple syrup, vanilla, and pumpkin seeds is undeniably divine. In addition, the textured vegetables protein (TVP) adds some extra proteins, making it a nutritious breakfast.
- 2 cups quick oats
- 1 cup textured vegetable protein (TVP)
- 1 orange zest and juice
- 1/3 cup pumpkin seeds
- 3 tbsp chia seeds
- 3 tbsp ground flax seeds
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- To taste maple syrup
- Pinch of salt
Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix all the ingredients together and then transfer on the baking sheet. Feel free to add or remove ingredients based on your own taste preferences.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown. Allow to cool completely to obtain a nice crunchiness before storing in an airtight container.
