Those tacos taste worth a million bucks, yet they are so simple to prepare! The shrimps are sautéed in olive oil with onion, garlic and smoked paprika and mixed with the delicious flavors of the chipotle sauce and parsley. Then, all you have to do is wrap the preparation in tortillas. Everyone will be begging for more!
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 red onion sliced
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 300 g raw shrimps
- 1-2 tbsp chipotle sauce
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Throw in the onion, the garlic, the paprika and a pinch of salt. Stir until the onion softens, about 3 minutes.
Add the shrimps and the chipotle sauce. Cook and mix, until the shrimps become opaque, 5-8 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Remove from the heat and mix in the parsley.
Serve into warm tortillas with brown rice, pico de gallo, slaw, avocado slices, sour cream, cheese or any other topping you like. You can also squeeze some lime wedges over the top at the end. Enjoy!
