Type de plat Breakfast
Portions 7 mini waffles

  • 1 cup unsweetened soy milk
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2/3 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/3 cup textured vegetable protein (TVP)
  • 2 tbsp ground flaxseeds
  • 2 tbsp sugar optional
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp French vanilla instant coffee Nescafé

  • Using a spoon, mix the soy milk and the apple cider vinegar together to create the buttermilk substitute. Set aside.
  • Using a mixer or a coffee grinder, grind the TVP into a fine powder. Transfer into a medium bowl with the rest of the dry ingredients.
  • Using a whisk, mix the dry ingredients and then gradually incorporate the buttermilk substitute until just combined.
  • Heat up your waffle maker and pour the quantity of batter recommended. If you are using the Mini Waffle Maker by Dash as I do, 1/4 cup of batter is sufficient to fill the entire surface. Cook until ready.
  • Top with syrup, fresh berries, whipped cream, nuts, Greek yogurt, fruit sauce, sliced bananas, chocolate-hazelnut spread or any other topping that you like! Enjoy!
